Practical Reiki for Parents and Caregivers
For parents and caregivers. Offered exclusively in-person at the moment.
This class will be about 6 hours long. Purchase is per family/couple. Two people can attend under the purchase of one class as long as they reside within the same home. We ask that you find childcare for your children, no children under the age of 13 may attend. If you would like your child to attend and they are under the age of 18 please reach out to fill out the parent consent form.
You must have at least two people signing up for the same day in order to have a class held. Before making your purchase please email us at beesmedicinecabinet@gmail.com to find what days and times are available for training, local options for class, and to form your group! This class package includes: a physical and digital form of your Reiki For Parents and Caregivers Training Manuel, light snacks and water, a small gift, and a list of useful resources.
What will the day look like?
Reiki training starts 24 hours before the class itself. Please avoid alcohol, nicotine, unnatural substances, and try to eat cleaner foods. The morning of class, please be sure to fast until you receive your attunement, and drink plenty of water. We will begin class with a brief introduction to one another, and connect to our breath. A short meditation will bring us all together in preparation for concentrating, learning, and connecting. We will then go over the history of reiki, discuss what it is and what it is not, and answer questions. We will then begin the attunement process and go into a deep group meditation. Followed by a short journaling session, and group discussion. We will then eat, take a breather, and then reconnect to learn and practice reiki techniques with one another. to end the class, we will do a mindfulness exercise, receive your gifts and certificates, and have a moment of gratitude for each other and the energy of one another before departing.
This class does not provide you with a certificate to be a professional practitioner. It is simply a class to teach you how to use reiki as a tool in caregiving and in everyday life.
