While the influences of Japanese culture can be found within reikis teachings, reiki itself is free from any and all religious constructs, and therefore, it is accessible to all. We hear at Reiki for the Womb believe that the energy of reiki is inclusive and found within all living things. We believe that reiki is free from prejudice against people of color, women, the LGBTQIA+ community, the disabled, and all other minorities. If these values do not align with your personal or religious beliefs, reiki might not be for you.

In order to start offering reiki to others as a professional service, you must first take and pass Reiki Level One from a certified Reiki Master Teacher. This class is usually covered in the span of one to two days. It is highly encouraged that you practice on yourself and others frequently before offering services professionally. After you feel confident in your abilities as a reiki level one practitioner, you can then proceed to level two. This class will give you new skills to use within your practice, and give you a deeper understanding of reiki and its abilities. After you are confident as a reiki level two practitioner, you are able to enroll and take the Reiki Master class. This weekend long class attunes you deeper into the reiki energy and allows for you to do even more powerful energy healing. Once you have recorded 100 hours of reiki at the Reiki Master level, you are then eligible for the Reiki Master Teacher class. This is the final level of reiki, where you are attuned to9 be able to teach all other levels of reiki to others. Becoming a Reiki Master takes dedication, extensive training and practice.
